Routine 8 : Removing the trigger frame

The trigger frame is held onto the receiver body by two metric screws, both of them 3mm. To make removal of the trigger frame easier, it is highly recommended that you remove the solenoid and battery wires from the board prior to frame removal. First, you'll begin by removing the grip cheeks with a 2.5mm wrench:

Ensure the charger input plug is removed prior to grip cheek removal. There are 6 screws, three on each side, but you'll only need to remove the LCD display side screws for this task.

There are four plugs located on the PCB, they are (from left to right) COPS, SOL, HOP, BAT. You'll want to unplug the SOL, BAT and HOP (if available). Take care to note which plug (2 or 3 prong) and wire color goes where for reinstallation.

Once these wires are unplugged you can begin with the trigger frame removal

... and then the second

You've now seperated the trigger frame from the receiver
